In March 2006 I came to Cyprus for the first time. Since 1994 I have been living abroad, being posted for the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan, Vietnam, China en currently in Cyprus. My current ranking as PADI-instructor is 'Master Scuba Diver-Trainer'.Until now I have trained divers from 18 different nationalities.
I have found a great passion in diving in the tropical oceans and enjoying the islands within them. The locations were I have been 'testing the waters' are:

- Certified as Master Scuba Diver, highest non-professional PADI level (with the specialties Underwater Navigation, Deep Diving, Underwater Naturalist, Fish Identification (South China Sea), Peak performance Buoyancy and Rescue-diving)
- Certified as Open Water Instructor (certified to teach Discover Scuba Diving; Scuba Diver; Open Water Diver; Advanced Diver; Rescue Diver; Divemaster)
