It’s the first dive anybody can take after some basic instruction, under the direct guidance of a PADI instructor. Maximum depth is 12 meter, but I would limit it to 6 meter, in calm and clear water. To ensure close personal attention I will take not more than 2 student divers along.

In the week before your Discover Scuba Diving experience you will get to watch a 45 minutes introduction DVD. On either Saturday or Sunday we'll meet at 9am or 2pm at Sunfish divecentre in Ayia Napa, where we fit equipment and take care for some paperwork (Discover Scuba Diver statement, incl relevant Health issues*). After that we head out to Green Bay, near Protaras. I will give you some reminders about what you have seen in the DVD and we'll gear up. Then we'll enter the water for your first experience of breathing underwater and some basic skills, which we'll do kneeled down at shallow water of approx 1.30 meter ‘shallow enough to stand up’. When you are ready for it, we'll swim around at 1-2 meter with Scuba equipment, and check your comfortability. If all feels good to you (which it should!) we move out to the edge of the bay where the schools of fishes are waiting to welcome you in their world.
