About an hour by speedboat south of Phuket lay the twin islands of Racha Ya and Racha Noi. Diving here is nice and basic, take a typical Thai longtail-boat and make a backroll into the warm water. The main beach has spectacular white sand and a green/blue ocean in front of it.
